Munich Airport NJ LLC, a 100% subsidiary of Munich Airport US Holding LLC, is responsible for terminal operations, facility maintenance and the management of the commercial program at the new Terminal A at EWR. The new Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is a modern, state-of-the art terminal which opened to commercial passenger traffic on Jan 12, 2023. The Terminal has a design capacity of approx. 14 million annual passengers and 33 common-use gates, providing generous space for a smooth journey through the building, from curbside to for check-in, security, gate holdrooms and baggage claim. The retail and food and beverage features local, national and international brands. Terminal A is the state’s largest design-build project, expected to generate more than $4.6 billion in regional economic activity, create more than 23,000 job years and provide more than $1.9 billion in wages.
