Solutions Architect

Freedom Fuels is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join our Technology team at our Eagle Farm Support Office on a 24-month contract, with the possibility of permanent employment.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can take a business need, understand the bigger picture and turn it into a practical, scalable and secure technology solution.

Working across our retail, wholesale and corporate operations, you'll have exposure to a broad technology environment including ERP, POS, EFTPOS, loyalty, digital platforms, integrations, cloud technologies and reporting systems.

What you'll do

• Translate business requirements into practical solution designs and technical specifications

• Design and improve solutions across enterprise applications, cloud and SaaS platforms

• Support integrations using APIs, middleware and data exchange technologies

• Provide technical expertise across ERP, POS, EFTPOS, loyalty, digital and reporting platforms

• Play a key role in technology projects from planning and design through to testing and implementation

• Partner with business stakeholders, vendors and implementation partners to deliver effective solutions

• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, reliability and scalability

• Ensure solutions consider security, governance, compliance and operational requirements

What you'll bring

• 5+ years' experience in Solution Architecture, Systems Analysis, Applications Architecture, Integration Design or a similar role

• Strong experience with enterprise applications and system integrations

• Experience across cloud-based and SaaS environments

• The ability to turn complex business requirements into clear, workable technology solutions

• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills

• A practical, analytical approach to solving problems and improving systems

• Experience delivering or supporting technology projects in complex business environments

Experience across retail, fuel, logistics, wholesale or multi-site operations, along with Azure, ERP, POS/EFTPOS or customer-facing digital platforms, will be highly regarded.
