As our Finance Systems Analyst, you'll work across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Power BI and SQL, helping improve the systems, reporting and data that Finance relies on every day. You'll investigate issues, improve processes, develop reporting solutions and support the ongoing reliability and effectiveness of our finance systems environment.

You'll work closely with the Finance Systems team, Finance leaders and our Digital & Technology team, giving you broad exposure across finance systems, reporting, data and process improvement.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

What You Will Be Working On

You'll support the effective operation, improvement and governance of Levande's finance systems and reporting environment, with a focus on improving data quality, controls and operational efficiency.

Your work will include:

• Using SQL to query, reconcile, analyse and validate financial and operational data.

• Designing, developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, including data models, Power Query transformations and DAX measures.

• Providing day-to-day functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, working alongside the Senior Systems Accountant to investigate and resolve system issues and user queries.

• Working with Finance stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business, system and reporting requirements and translate them into practical solutions.

• Investigating data-quality, transformation and integration issues and supporting data mapping and validation.

• Coordinating functional testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing for system changes and enhancements.

• Identifying opportunities to automate, standardise and simplify finance processes.

• Maintaining clear system and reporting documentation while supporting data quality, controls and finance-system governance.

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

You'll be suited to this role if you're analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable getting to the root cause of system and data issues. You'll also need to communicate clearly and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• 3–5 years' experience in finance systems, ERP support, business systems analysis, reporting or a related role.

• SQL skills sufficient to query, analyse, reconcile and validate data.

• Experience supporting Microsoft D365 F&O or a comparable finance ERP platform.

• Experience developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards using data from Microsoft D365 or a comparable financial system.

• Working knowledge of Power Query, DAX and data modelling.

• Practical understanding of core finance processes, including financial and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Experience gathering and documenting business, system and reporting requirements.

• Experience investigating system and data issues and performing root-cause analysis.

• Experience coordinating testing and user acceptance testing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate business needs into practical system and reporting solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a reasonable level of independence.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services or data warehousing, Power Automate, Power Apps, advanced Power BI capabilities, D365 data management or ERP upgrades and releases would be advantageous but isn't essential.
