Job Title: Junior Cloud & Storage Solution Sales Engineer (Extra-curricular Intern)

Job Location: Rome, Via Del Serafico, 89 (Italy)

Work Policy & Hours: On-site (5 days/week in office, 09:00 – 18:00)

Contract Type: 6-Month Internship (Path to Full-Time employment)

Compensation: €1,000 gross/month + €8/day meal vouchers (buoni pasto)

About the Role & Program

Kickstart your career with Huawei Italy’s Graduate Program. This intensive 6-month internship is designed to develop the next generation of ICT leaders. You will work alongside industry experts, gain hands-on experience in Enterprise IT Infrastructure (All-Flash Storage, OceanStor, Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Data Protection), technical solution design and customer engagement, and transition directly into a full-time role upon successful completion.

Main Responsibilities:

• Market & Needs Analysis: Conduct technical and market analysis to identify enterprise IT trends, evaluate client data management pain points, and uncover growth opportunities for Cloud and Enterprise Storage solutions.

• Solution Architecture & Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, tailor, and present high-impact technical proposals based on client data availability, performance capacity, and cloud migration requirements.

• Client Engagement & Demos: Assist in preparing and delivering technical demonstrations, product presentations, and solution roadmaps for hybrid cloud architectures and high-performance storage arrays.

• Presales & Project Support: Support senior Solution Sales Engineers with technical documentation, sizing/capacity calculations, and tender responses to drive commercial targets and technology adoption.

Requirements:

• Fresh Graduate or Current Student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, such as Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. The graduation date should ideally be approximately 6-12 months before or after the internship start date.

• Technical & Sales Passion: Strong foundational interest in enterprise IT architecture (SAN/NAS storage, cloud computing concepts, virtualization, disaster recovery), enterprise presales, and technical consulting.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and high emotional intelligence for international team environments.

• Languages: Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) and professional working proficiency in English.

• Work Authorization: Must hold valid authorization to live and work in Italy.
