  • Lead and support data migration initiatives between enterprise data platforms, including Snowflake-based environments.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain data models that support analytics, reporting, and data product consumption.
  • Develop and manage metadata-driven solutions, ensuring data assets are discoverable, governed, and reusable.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance YAML-based configurations, metadata definitions, and deployment artifacts.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation for data products, pipelines, operational processes, and platform capabilities.
  • Support CI/CD and infrastructure automation practices, leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles where applicable.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake in production environments.
  • Experience building data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer, or equivalent GCP services).
  • Proven experience delivering data migration or modernization projects involving Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, data warehousing, and data modelling best practices.
  • Experience working with metadata management, data cataloging, and data governance concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, data product documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Experience authoring and maintaining YAML-based configurations, metadata definitions, or declarative frameworks.

Set Yourself Apart With

  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Experience implementing metadata-driven data platforms or DataOps frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data cataloging tools such as DataHub, Collibra, Alation, or similar platforms.
  • Experience defining data products, ownership models, and data contracts.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment patterns for data platforms.
  • Experience working in modern cloud-native architecture and enterprise-scale data transformation programs.
