PHARMACEUTICAL OR HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE IS IDEALMust be able to commute to North Chicago**DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a strategic migration initiative. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional business process mapping and process documentation skills, with a strong preference for experience supporting finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, reporting, or other financial business processes.This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, architects, and project leadership to document current-state processes, define future-state workflows, identify process improvements, and ensure business requirements are successfully translated into technical solutions throughout the migration effort.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to understand existing processes, workflows, and reporting requirements.Document current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") business processes.Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, swimlane diagrams, and supporting documentation.Capture, document, and manage business, functional, and data requirements.Work with finance and business stakeholders to identify dependencies, risks, controls, and process improvements.Collaborate with data architects, developers, and migration teams to ensure business requirements are accurately implemented.Assist in data validation, reconciliation, testing, and user acceptance activities.Facilitate stakeholder reviews and obtain approval on requirements and process documentation.Support change management, training, and adoption activities as new processes are introduced.Maintain traceability between business requirements, process documentation, and solution deliverables.SkillsBusiness analysis, Requirements gathering, Agile, Business process, process flow, Data analysisTop Skills DetailsBusiness analysis,Requirements gathering,Agile,Business process,process flow,Data analysisAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with financial processes, including:Financial ReportingGeneral LedgerAccounts Payable/ReceivableBudgeting & ForecastingFP&ATreasury OperationsRegulatory ReportingKnowledge of data governance, data quality, and data lineage concepts.Experience working with large enterprise data warehouses and reporting platforms.Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project methodologies.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Mettawa, IL.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
