What You’ll Be Part Of
- We are seeking a Technical Team Manager to join our Customer Delivery Group in India, responsible for end‑to‑end customer delivery, workflow and release execution, and technical leadership across the full development lifecycle.
- Our software product solutions are among the most advanced in the automotive industry. This role plays a critical execution and customer‑facing function, ensuring delivery commitments are met while serving as the regional first line of Tier‑4 (T4) technical support, assisting in urgent escalations and complex, cross‑system issues.
- The role is acting as the main point of contact for customer release status and maintaining continuous alignment with Customer Success, TAM, Architecture, Product, and other Engineering teams. Responsibilities include workflow and release management, delivery planning and commitments, T4 backlog ownership, and knowledge sharing and facilitation across teams.
- In addition, the role provides technical guidance and consultancy to Solution Management and Product, including cost estimates, RFI/RFQ analysis, and feasibility assessments. As a people leader, the role is responsible for planning, mentoring, administration, and resource allocation, while continuously improving team capability and delivery effectiveness.
- Your Team: Leads engineering team while have full responsibility for E2E delivery of our products.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead end‑to‑end customer delivery across Development full life cycle
- Act as Workflow Release Manager, owning release planning, execution, readiness, and delivery commitments
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer release status, ensuring predictable and transparent E2E delivery
- Manage the Tier‑4 (T4) project backlog, including prioritization, execution, and closure
- Be available for urgent Tier‑4 activities and critical escalations as the regional first line of support (in working hours)
- Write production‑level code to deliver customer features, improve core products, and validate technical feasibility
- Investigate complex technical issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive improvements in software quality
- Clarify customer requirements and translate them into actionable delivery plans for global teams
- Embrace and enhance new AI capabilities and ways to shorten our response time and development/testing efforts
- Represent the organization in customer technical workshops and onsite meetings when required
- Own planning, delivery commitments, and resource allocation
- Mentor team members and continuously raise the team’s technical maturity
- Drive knowledge sharing and facilitation across Development, QA, and Support
- Coordinate onboarding and technical training within the team and across regions
- Transfer knowledge through documentation, reviews, and technical sessions
- Establish and evolve automated testing environments
What Makes You A Strong Fit
- 15 - 18 years of work experience in Java programming with Education: B.E / B.Tech or higher education.
- 5+ years of team management experience
- Should have rich experience in RESTful/micro services based product development
- Should possess sound experience & understanding of OOPS, design patterns/concepts
- Should be proficient in Spring, Spring boot, Docker and Maven/Gradle
- Hands-on experience with development tools like: Bitbucket, GitHub
- Expertise in AI driven software product development & management.
- Experience in using AI as part of product development life cycle and engineering compliances.
- Hands-on experience in Linux
- Independent, experienced in learning new environments and assembling POC quickly, experienced in working under pressure and deadlines
- Independent and Self Motivated
- Business Level English skills (meeting, reporting and collaboration)
- Experience & knowledge of DB – PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch
- Experience with Cloud Services like AWS/Azure/GCP
Bonus Points if You Have
- Hands on experience in C, C++, Android / QNX, GO and Rust
- Experience in SW development for the automotive industry with proven experience in ASPICE
