For one of my client, an important and dynamic Asset Management firm in Monaco, I am looking for a Python Quantitative Developer for trading & operations team. This is a rare opportunity for a young and ambitious developer to grow in a very ambitious environment and to be close to the C-levels of the company. This is an in-office position.
Among the key responsibilities, you will have to:
Systematize and optimize operational procedures to improve the firm’s overall functionality to increase productivity and efficiency on the trading and operations department.
Optimize queries (indexes, joins, performance tuning..)
Query large datasets and build views
Perform ad-hoc reporting, risk and PnL investigations on financial products, especially Fixed-Income ones.
Requirements
In terms of profile, I am looking for the following:
· Master’s degree in science, Technology, Quantitative Financial Markets
· From 2 years of experience in a large Investment /Private Bank, Hedge Fund or Asset Managament firm
· Fluency in English, French is a plus
· Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL, C++ a plus
· Strong proficiency for data processing, automation, and building small tools
· Familiarity with MCP Servers, Python Data Science libraries, DevOps and APIs with an appetite to build tools to process unstructured data
· A clear ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and translate them into clean, robust, efficient code
Quantitative and analytical skills: Strong problem-solving, effective communication, and presentation skills
