ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support Kubernetes operational work by clearing backlog tickets, maintaining and upgrading clusters, and deploying open-source components across a GitOps-based deployment model. You will use GitLab and ArgoCD for Kubernetes deployments, refine change processes, automate operational workflows using Bash or other scripting languages, and collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integrations and upgrades. AWS and EKS experience is a strong plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Support Kubernetes operational work by clearing backlog tickets, maintaining and upgrading Kubernetes clusters, and deploying open-source components.

- Drive continuous improvement by refining processes for recognizing, notifying, and updating Kubernetes changes, while collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth integrations and upgrades.

- Use GitLab and ArgoCD for GitOps-based Kubernetes deployments, write and update internal documentation, and automate operational workflows using Bash or other scripting languages.

- Clear backlog tickets related to Kubernetes updates and configurations.

- Maintain, upgrade, and deploy Kubernetes clusters and open-source components.

- Refine Kubernetes change processes and automate operational workflows using Bash or other scripting languages.

MUST HAVES

- 3–5 years of experience as a Kubernetes Administrator, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or a combination of these roles.

- Experience with Kubernetes administration.

- Experience with Git and GitOps.

- Experience with ArgoCD.

- Familiarity with open-source technologies in the Kubernetes ecosystem, either Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, Flux, or Docker.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

- AWS/EKS experience - strong plus.

- Bash scripting.

- CKA certification.

- Experience writing and updating internal documentation for tasks and processes.
