SUMMER INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:
The Hanover’s Internship Program provides college students with the opportunity to work on a variety of critical business assignments, test your skills, use your academic knowledge, and match your interests to a real job. Through the 10-week summer program (June – mid August), You will:
- Take on meaningful projects and work alongside some of the very best talent in the industry
- Be supported and mentored by a community of exceptional talent (leaders, managers, subject matter experts and recent graduates)
- Participate in a cross-functional team building project focused on corporate philanthropy
- Attend weekly development workshops with your intern peers
- Join in engagement and social activities with other interns

Our Technology team is seeking exceptional college students for our Summer Internship Program, which provides meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth, as well as rewarding career path options.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Serve as the first responder to any security related events and key to Hanover’s security posture
•Partner with departments across the enterprise to identify any current issues, recommend options for remediation, and work issues through to resolution
•Provide implementation support for various security applications, technologies, and products
•High level areas you could be assigned to include: policy, malware analysis, security engineering
•Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summer
WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or advanced degree program
Cyber Security degree program strongly preferred Ability to commit to a full time 10 week internship program Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future Technical expertise in systems administration, security tools, combined with knowledge of security practices and procedures
Working knowledge of Python, Data Analytics & Correlation, Log Aggregation, software development, database management, IoT, AI

The target hiring range for this role may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus (which could take the form of a general bonus, sales incentive, or short-term incentive), long-term incentive or spot recognition awards. The posted range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
