Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): New Jersey and North Carolina

This position delivers strategic insight into Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) governance processes, technology controls, and business systems through complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities. Serves as a subject matter expert on SDLC governance requirements, procedures, and compliance/adherence. Expert on SDLC governance requirements and implement appropriate processes, standards, and monitoring activities to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The role is responsible for supporting the implementation, adoption, and enablement of SDLC governance requirements across technology and business teams. This includes partnering with application development, business/product, and risk stakeholders to drive awareness, consistency, and adherence to established SDLC procedures. Assists in identifying and resolving process issues, which may involve adherence and governance reviews, reporting development, or governance process improvements.

Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Identifies issues that affect system processes, and assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis. Reporting - Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results. System Support - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on systems and data output.

Qualifications: Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience

OR

High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Support execution and ongoing maturation of the SDLC Governance, including standards, procedures, and controls.
  • Perform complex analysis of SDLC processes, compliance data, and governance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Review SDLC artifacts to assess adherence to governance requirements, including requirements management, testing, approvals, change management.
  • Monitor and report on SDLC compliance, exceptions, issues, risks, and remediation activities.
  • Current contractor/contingent worker for First Citizens Bank

If hired in New Jersey or North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $98,045 and $120.000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
