Responsibilities

The Project Manager will support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The role involves working closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure effective communication.

  • Assist in defining project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Coordinate project resources and manage day-to-day operational activities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for project-related queries from team members and stakeholders.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Communicate progress and risks to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating them when necessary.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to find solutions to roadblocks.
  • Assist with ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
  • Track and report on project progress and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including project plans, timelines, and status reports.
  • Prepare project status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring project goals and objectives are met.
  • Assist in the management of project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Embodies the CoolSys CARES culture (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Empowerment, Safety).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education / Training

  • HVAC background in either service or installation. Supermarket HVAC and/or refrigeration is a plus.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or similar) is a plus but not required.

Work Experience / Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) is a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws. • Ability to use typical business tools including E-Mail, Word, Excel, etc.
