- We’re a Great Place to Work certified company with a people-first culture where ideas are welcomed, collaboration is real, and people are trusted to bring their expertise to the table. You’ll work with Australian clients and international teams, expand your skills across exciting projects, and build a career with genuine room to develop.
- If you’re ready for global exposure, creative challenges, and a workplace that invests in its people, you’ll feel right at home here.
Role Overview
- There are web designers who create beautiful mockups. Then there are web designers who can take that beautiful mock-up and actually make it work in WordPress. We’re looking for the second kind.
- As our WordPress & Elementor Web Designer, you’ll work with one of our Australian clients across a portfolio of websites and brands, taking ideas all the way from Figma or Adobe XD to WordPress and Elementor.
- You’ll sit comfortably where design meets execution—creating wireframes and polished interfaces, then building them into responsive, functional web experiences yourself.
- Because a page shouldn’t just look good in the design file. It needs to work beautifully where it counts: on the actual website.
- Your focus will be creating experiences that are visually polished, usable, accessible, responsive, SEO-conscious, and designed with conversion in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design website pages and landing pages.
- Create wireframes and high-fidelity mockups.
- Translate Figma or Adobe XD designs into WordPress.
- Build and update pages using Elementor.
- Create responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Modernize and refresh existing websites.
- Create banners, icons, imagery, and promotional web assets.
- Maintain visual and brand consistency across multiple websites and brands.
- Apply UI/UX principles to website structure, navigation, and page layouts.
- Incorporate accessibility and usability considerations into designs.
- Create conversion-focused layouts that support enquiries, bookings, or purchases.
- Apply SEO-friendly design principles.
- Collaborate with developers, SEO, content, and marketing teams.
- Manage design requirements across multiple brands and projects.
- Contribute new design ideas and stay current with web design practices.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Substantial professional web design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating professional website and landing page design work.
- Hands-on experience with Figma or Adobe XD.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress.
- Hands-on experience with Elementor.
- Experience with Photoshop or equivalent.
- Experience with Illustrator or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience creating wireframes and high-fidelity website mockups.
- Ability to take designs from concept through to working WordPress and Elementor pages.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Understanding of responsive web design across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Understanding of website accessibility and usability.
- Ability to design conversion-focused websites and landing page layouts.
- Ability to maintain visual consistency while working across different brands.
- Experience collaborating with developers, SEO, content, and marketing teams.
- Ability to manage multiple websites, brands, or projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with conversion rate optimization.
- Experience with SEO-friendly design.
- Experience designing for high-traffic websites.
- Experience with motion graphics.
- Experience with animation.
- Basic video editing experience.
- Experience working in education or training environments.
