This is an opportunity to combine hands-on quality assurance with deep knowledge of the trucking industry in a fast-growing, technology-driven environment.You’ll help ensure web and mobile products work reliably across real-world trucking workflows and operational scenarios.The role sits at the intersection of QA, software development, and product thinking, giving you exposure to how technology is built and improved.You’ll work closely with developers to identify issues, validate new functionality, and translate industry expertise into better product decisions.While advanced software engineering experience is not required, curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies are essential.You’ll have meaningful ownership over testing quality, processes, and feedback in a fully remote, international team.This role is particularly well suited to a trucking professional looking to transition into technology, QA, and eventually product management.

Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases informed by real-world trucking operations, logistics, and safety requirements.

• Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications, validating functionality against practical trucking scenarios and user workflows.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues through resolution.

• Collaborate closely with developers and other technical stakeholders to provide timely, actionable feedback based on both QA practices and trucking expertise.

• Conduct regression testing to ensure new features, updates, and bug fixes do not negatively affect existing functionality.

• Analyze test results and communicate testing progress, findings, risks, and outcomes clearly to relevant stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes, tools, testing methodologies, and overall product quality.

• Participate in code reviews and provide QA-focused feedback, using basic knowledge of technical workflows and Git-based development processes.

• Help ensure software quality aligns with relevant industry standards, operational requirements, and QA best practices.

• Contribute to product improvement by translating real-world trucking needs and operational challenges into actionable feedback for the development team.

Requirements:

• Significant professional experience in the trucking industry, with a strong understanding of trucking operations, logistics, workflows, and safety considerations.

• Basic knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing processes, and relevant QA tools, with a genuine interest in developing deeper technical expertise.

• Willingness and ability to learn new testing frameworks, software tools, and technical processes.

• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to identifying, investigating, and solving problems.

• Ability to understand software functionality from a user's and operational perspective and recognize where technology may not reflect real-world trucking needs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and colleagues in a fully remote environment.

• Basic familiarity with software development workflows, including Git-based code review, is valuable.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting is advantageous.

• A proactive, adaptable mindset and the motivation to grow from quality assurance toward broader product and technology responsibilities.
