Full description

Regulus is an agile defense-tech startup tackling the most complex challenges in counter-drone and uncrewed defense. With hundreds of combat-proven systems deployed by the IDF and global partners, we are now engineering the next generation of C-UxS (Counter-Uncrewed Systems). We leverage advanced electronic warfare and kinetic measures to detect and neutralize hostile threats. If you want to push technological boundaries while safeguarding Israel and our allies, join us at this pivotal stage of our growth.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company at a pivotal growth stage and help shape its products, culture, and future.

We are looking for Junior / Mid-level Software Engineer – Rust / C++ / GPU

About the role

We build a real-time GNSS and SDR signal processing system that runs on embedded GPU platforms.

Algorithms and hardware interfaces are written in C++ and CUDA. Infrastructure is written in Rust.

The team is small. You will work next to senior engineers and own real parts of the system early on.

What you will do

  • Write fast, reliable code for real-time signal processing.
  • Help turn research algorithms (GNSS, signal processing, geospatial) into production code.
  • Write and tune GPU kernels.
  • Improve the build system, tests, CI, and tooling the team uses every day.
  • Work with hardware, research, and product teams.

Requirements

  • Up to 1–3 years of experience as SW Engineer
  • Good programming skills in C++, Rust, or both, and a wish to go deep into systems programming.
  • Comfortable on Linux.
  • Curious about how things work under the hood: memory, threads, performance.
  • Likes to build things from start to finish, not only small changes.

Strong plus

  • GPU programming: you wrote GPU kernels (CUDA or similar), even in a personal or university project.
  • Building projects from scratch: you designed and built a working project on your own or in a small team. For example a tool, a library, an engine, or a build/test setup.

Nice to have

  • Interest in GNSS, signal processing, or computer vision.
  • Experience with Python, especially turning prototypes into faster code.
  • Contributions to open source.
