Seneca Federal Solutions, a Seneca Nation Group (SNG) company, is seeking a Senior Roofing Project Manager to deliver high‑value technical projects focused on roof replacement, restoration, repair, maintenance, waterproofing, sheet-metal work, insulation replacement, drainage improvements, and related building-envelope work at federal facilities.

This role is 100% remote with approximately 50% travel to job sites to conduct site visits for inspections, installation and start-up activities, lead client meetings, and to assess project progress and compliance. The ideal candidate will reside in an area with convenient access to a major airport. Additionally, access to federal worksites is required for this role. As such, candidates must meet eligibility requirements and successfully pass associated background checks.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage medium to large, full-lifecycle turnkey projects, reporting financials, controlling budgets, streamlining operational functions, and resolving project issues, while meeting stringent deadlines
  • Project Management tasks to include proposal development, management of resources, project budgets and forecasting, and schedule management throughout to project closure
  • Develop and manage a detailed traditional project schedule and work plan
  • Estimate Proposal budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Provide project presentations to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and estimates to complete
  • Create and maintain strong federal customer relationships
  • Observe and inspect construction activities to ensure project requirement compliance and established quality and safety standards are met
  • Direct, or indirectly supervise:
  • Project engineers, Assistant project managers
  • Superintendents, Site safety & Quality-control personnel
  • Foremen and field crews, Subcontractors and specialty vendors

Basic Qualifications:

  • Seven to ten years of project management experience overseeing full-lifecycle commercial, industrial, federal, or institutional construction projects, including direct experience managing commercial roofing, waterproofing, or building-envelope projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience and understanding of commercial/industrial infrastructure design, engineering, manufacturing, and construction processes.
  • Strong knowledge and direct experience with commercial roofing installation practices and industry standards
  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial roof replacement, repair, restoration, or building-envelope projects.
  • Working knowledge of low-slope and steep-slope roofing systems, insulation, flashings, waterproofing, sheet metal, roof drainage, and manufacturer warranty requirements.
  • Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, statements of work, submittals, and contract documents
  • Strong understanding of construction safety and fall-protection requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass background investigations, drug screening, and site-access requirements.
  • Ability to travel and work at federal, military, correctional, industrial, and other controlled-access facilities.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with government officials, commercial customers, subcontractors, field personnel, and executive management.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in geographically dispersed locations.

Desired Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification / Certified Construction Manager (CCM) / Certified Professional Constructor (CPC)
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
  • Experience with federal contracting, certified payroll, prevailing-wage requirements, and government construction documentation.
  • Manufacturer certifications from major commercial roofing manufacturers.
  • Registered Roof Observer, Registered Roof Consultant, or other roof-industry certification.
  • Experience managing projects requiring bonding, security clearances, Buy American compliance, or domestic material sourcing.
  • Experience using estimation software and tools
  • Convenient access to a major airport to accommodate travel

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to visit active construction sites and access rooftop work areas.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs and navigate uneven or elevated surfaces.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and inspect work for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and fall-protection equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Ability to travel by automobile and commercial aircraft.
