Support Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Support Engineer based in India.

This role is ideal for a technically skilled support professional who enjoys solving operational challenges and keeping critical enterprise systems running reliably. You will provide day-to-day production support for an Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS), handling incidents, service requests, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The position combines hands-on technical problem-solving with proactive monitoring and system improvement. You will work across data integration, databases, analytics connectivity, and system monitoring technologies. Your work will help ensure platform stability, minimize disruptions, and maintain dependable business operations. Accountabilities:

• Provide day-to-day production and operational support for the EDMS platform.

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve incidents while identifying root causes and minimizing service disruption.

• Manage and implement service requests (SRs) in accordance with established operational procedures.

• Support system maintenance activities, including patch testing, validation, and deployment.

• Monitor system logs, alerts, and operational indicators to identify potential issues proactively.

• Investigate recurring technical problems and contribute to preventive measures and system improvements.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Collaborate with relevant technical and business stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain reliable platform operations.

• Follow established support processes and ensure incidents and service requests are handled within agreed timelines.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in production support, application support, system operations, or technical support, ideally within an enterprise environment.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) Integration Runtime (IR).

• Working knowledge of Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.

• Familiarity with Power BI Gateway and its role in supporting analytics connectivity.

• Strong SQL skills and practical experience working with data pipelines.

• Experience with system log analysis, monitoring, alerting, and proactive issue detection.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose technical issues methodically.

• Good understanding of incident management, service requests, system maintenance, and production support practices.

• Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to maintain clear technical records and SOPs.

• Ability to work effectively in a structured, collaborative, and potentially Microsoft-centric technical environment.

• Previous experience supporting systems in Singapore-based environments or Microsoft-focused enterprise environments is preferred.
