As an Analyst or Associate in Structuring & Originations, you will contribute to the origination and structuring of innovative financing solutions, collaborating with a wide selection of clients and internal teams. You will gain exposure to analytical risk analysis, commercial negotiation, and deal execution, developing your skills in a dynamic environment. As an Analyst or Associate in the Structuring & Originations team within the Securitised Products Group, you will support the origination and financing of portfolios of loans and receivables and assist in structuring and distributing bonds backed by a range of collateral types. You will work with clients including specialist lenders, FinTech companies, corporates, banks, hedge funds, private equity sponsors, and asset managers. You will contribute to risk analysis, cash flow modelling, commercial negotiation, and review of legal documentation, while supporting distribution efforts to institutional investors.
Note: This is not a sales or trading role; it is a private-side origination and structuring role with similarities to traditional Investment Banking roles.
Job responsibilities
- Prepare and update marketing presentations for client meetings.
- Analyse and model collateral data and cash flow models.
- Review deal documentation and collateral audits as required.
- Assist syndicate and the sales force in distribution to institutional investors.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of the financial industry and debt capital markets, including understanding of technical concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, time management, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Alteryx, and AI tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Adaptable to demanding and evolving responsibilities, with a strong work ethic.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with Intex.
- Working proficiency in a European language (in addition to English).
