ABOUT THE JOB

Ingenico Android Competence Center (ACC) is tasked with building and maintaining payment software for use across regions.

Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for managing projects to make sure the project teams can deliver software products with constraints of time, cost, and quality. TPM should have a technical background, so he/she speaks the same language as project members do, understand their issues and find the most relevant ways to support them to complete their jobs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle project management activities including, but not limited to: Project schedules, Detailed project plans, Project scope statements, Cost estimates, Resource plans, Risk and issues management, Status reports.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, ensure project plan, project status, risks and issues are transparent to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and conflicts to ensure quality control throughout the project life cycle.
  • Lead and motivate the development team, supervise and evaluate team members, provide them with valid and constructive feedback, supportive and professional mentoring.
  • Actively participates as a leader in company life to contribute to building up company culture.

REQUIREMENTS

Languages: Fluent English required.

Education Qualifications/ Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry, including hands-on experience in software development (Developer), Quality Assurance (QA/QC), Software Engineer, or other technical roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager, or Software Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering software products throughout the full project lifecycle. Experience with Jira or similar project management tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills to gain cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, team members and other stakeholders

Preferred

  • Experience managing distributed development teams and offshore/onshore collaboration models.
  • Experience in fintech, payment solutions, embedded systems, or Android-based products.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent project management certifications are advantageous.
