Role Purpose
To lead the end-to-end strategy, design, and lifecycle management of the Gold Loan product, ensuring profitable growth, superior customer experience, regulatory compliance, and continuous innovation through data-driven decision-making and digital enablement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Lifecycle Ownership
- Own the end-to-end Gold Loan product lifecycle—ideation, design, launch, and continuous optimization
- Define product roadmap aligned with business goals, market demand, and customer insights
- Drive innovation by developing new product variants, features, and value propositions
- Lead pan-India product initiatives and ensure consistent rollout across regions
2. P&L Management & Portfolio Growth
- Own product P&L, including revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability metrics
- Drive portfolio growth (AUM, yield, customer acquisition) through targeted initiatives
- Monitor portfolio quality (NPA, delinquency, PSL compliance) and implement corrective strategies
- Identify cross-sell and ancillary revenue opportunities (insurance, top-ups, etc.)
3. Pricing, Policy & Risk Framework
- Design and manage pricing models, LTV norms, and interest rate strategies
- Develop and implement product policies, SOPs, and risk controls aligned with RBI guidelines
- Continuously review and optimize policies to balance risk, compliance, and growth
4. Go-to-Market & Business Enablement
- Design and execute go-to-market strategies across branch, digital, and partner channels
- Launch campaigns, incentives, and R&R programs to drive business growth
- Work closely with sales teams to improve product penetration and conversion rates
- Enable branch productivity through structured sales support and product interventions
5. Digital & Process Transformation
- Drive digitization of end-to-end journeys including onboarding, renewal, and closure
- Partner with technology teams to enhance LOS/LMS systems and automate workflows
- Improve TAT and customer experience through process simplification and automation
- Lead development and implementation of digital tools and platforms (e.g., onboarding apps, CRM integration)
6. MIS, Analytics & Performance Monitoring
- Design and manage MIS dashboards, KPI frameworks, and performance metrics
- Conduct detailed analytics on business performance, channel productivity, and customer behavior
- Identify gaps and drive data-based interventions for revenue and efficiency improvement
- Forecast growth trends, volumes, and market share opportunities
7. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management
- Collaborate with Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, Technology, Marketing, and Compliance teams
- Act as a central coordination point for product-related initiatives and issue resolution
- Engage with senior leadership on product strategy, performance, and key initiatives
8. Branch Enablement & Capability Building
- Provide structured support to branches on product, policy, and system-related queries

9. Compliance, Audit & Governance
- Ensure full compliance with RBI guidelines and internal governance frameworks
- Manage audit observations, regulatory queries, and risk controls
- Ensure high audit scores and adherence to policy frameworks
Qualification
- Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Engineering preferred)
- MBA / PGDM (Finance / Marketing) strongly preferred
