At LegalMatch, we're looking for a Technical Delivery Manager – DevOps who combines strong technical expertise with people leadership. In this role, you'll guide the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of our DevOps function while helping Engineering teams deliver reliable, secure, and scalable systems.
You'll lead a team of talented DevOps engineers, shape our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices, drive automation, and champion Agile delivery across the organization.
What You'll Do
Lead DevOps Strategy
- Shape and execute the DevOps roadmap aligned with engineering and business goals.
- Drive cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment, and platform reliability.
- Champion modern DevOps practices, AI-assisted engineering tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Enable High-Performing Teams
- Coach, mentor, and develop a collaborative DevOps team.
- Foster accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.
- Support career growth through regular coaching and technical leadership.
Drive Agile Delivery
- Prioritize the DevOps backlog and balance operational work with long-term platform improvements.
- Remove delivery blockers and help engineering teams execute efficiently.
- Partner closely with Engineering leaders and stakeholders to deliver high-impact initiatives.
Improve Operational Excellence
- Ensure production systems remain secure, scalable, and highly available.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
- Continuously improve monitoring, deployment quality, and infrastructure resilience.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience leading technical teams in roles such as Team Lead, Engineering Manager, or Technical Manager.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, monitoring, automation, and cloud-native operations.
- Experience implementing Agile practices and driving continuous improvement within engineering teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
