Responsibilities

Ready To Be the Person Who Makes Sure Requirements Are Clear, Decisions Are Captured, and Nothing Falls Through the Cracks?

Why This Role Matters

Projects stall when requirements are ambiguous, decisions go undocumented, and action items disappear after meetings. This role prevents that. As a Junior BA on the PMO team, you're the documentation backbone of delivery — working across BAs, developers, and stakeholders to keep requirements structured, processes mapped, and project records accurate from kickoff through UAT. You'll also grow into the ATLAS/Appian platform on the job, contributing to feature analysis and configuration requirements as your platform knowledge builds.

What You'll Actually Do

Gather and maintain requirements: Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements with stakeholders, keeping the requirements log accurate, conflict-free, and searchable throughout the project lifecycle.

Capture decisions and drive follow-through: Attend working sessions and stakeholder syncs, document outcomes and action items, and make sure the right information reaches the right people — then follow up to confirm it sticks.

Map and analyze current-state processes: Document existing workflows accurately, surface pain points and inefficiencies, and bring structured findings to the team to support process improvement discussions.

Support UAT cycles: Participate in user acceptance testing, document test cases and defect logs, and communicate findings back to the team in a clear, organized format.

Keep project documentation current: Support the PM by maintaining up-to-date project records, tracking open action items, and flagging risks or blockers before they become problems.

Contribute to ATLAS/Appian platform work: Learn the ATLAS platform, assist with feature analysis and configuration requirements, and collaborate with developers to ensure builds reflect business intent.

Maintain documentation governance: Ensure decisions, requirements, and actions are logged centrally and consistently across the team.
