About the role

Lotus is looking for a Product Manager – Connectivity Europe to lead the strategy and delivery of our connected services across the European market.

This is a key role at the intersection of automotive, technology and customer experience, with responsibility for shaping how Lotus customers interact with our vehicles and digital ecosystem.

You will own the European connected services roadmap, lead the development and evolution of the Lotus customer app, coordinate OTA functionality and new digital features, and help define the commercial proposition for connected services.

Working across our European business and closely with engineering and digital teams in China, you will translate technical capabilities into compelling customer experiences and commercially successful products.

What you'll do

Connected Services Strategy

  • Own and develop the roadmap for connected services across Europe, ensuring alignment with wider product, customer and commercial priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the Lotus digital proposition and enhance the ownership experience.
  • Ensure European market and customer requirements are represented within the wider connected vehicle strategy.

App Product Ownership

  • Lead the definition, prioritisation and delivery of features for the Lotus customer app.
  • Develop the product roadmap based on customer needs, commercial priorities and technical capabilities.
  • Work with technical and digital teams to continually improve functionality and user experience.

OTA & Digital Features

  • Coordinate closely with engineering teams in China on Over-the-Air (OTA) releases, system updates and new feature development.
  • Align technical constraints and delivery timelines with European commercial requirements and customer expectations.
  • Support the effective introduction and communication of new connected vehicle functionality.

Commercial & Competitive Strategy

  • Benchmark competitor connectivity, app, charging and digital service propositions to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop pricing and commercial models for connected services and digital features.
  • Identify opportunities to support new digital revenue streams while delivering genuine value for Lotus customers.

Lifecycle & Issue Management

  • Manage system updates and feature configurations within LCMS.
  • Maintain a structured approach to issue management across connected services, coordinating stakeholders to drive effective resolution.
  • Provide product expertise to aftermarket teams and support the resolution of customer and technical issues.

Working across the business

This is a highly collaborative and international role. You will work across European markets and build strong relationships with stakeholders including:

  • China Engineering and Digital Product teams
  • European Product Planning and Product Marketing
  • Commercial and market teams
  • Aftermarket and customer support functions
  • Digital and technology teams
  • External connectivity and digital service partners

You'll need to be comfortable navigating a global organisation, balancing technical feasibility with customer expectations and commercial priorities.

A key part of the role will be translating complex connectivity and OTA topics into clear recommendations and decisions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • Experience within connected services, digital product management, automotive infotainment or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of OTA systems and connected vehicle platforms.
  • Proven experience managing product roadmaps, feature development and delivery.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects involving both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience undertaking competitor and market benchmarking.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear commercial and product decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across international and geographically dispersed teams.
  • A strong customer-focused approach to digital product development.

Desirable

  • Experience within the automotive industry and connected vehicle ecosystem.
  • Experience working directly with China-based engineering or technology teams.
  • Knowledge of automotive backend platforms.
  • Understanding of EV charging ecosystems and associated digital services.
  • Experience developing pricing models or digital subscription propositions.
  • Experience within aftermarket support or a customer-facing technical environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to connected and digital vehicle services.

What you'll bring

You'll be comfortable taking ownership of a complex and rapidly evolving product area and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and regions.

You'll bring:

  • Strategic thinking and strong product judgement.
  • A customer-centric approach to product leadership.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Commercial awareness alongside technical understanding.
  • A results-focused and proactive mindset.
  • Curiosity and a passion for innovation.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement.
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and make informed recommendations.

The opportunity

Connectivity is becoming an increasingly important part of the automotive ownership experience. This role provides the opportunity to directly influence how Lotus develops its connected vehicle ecosystem across Europe – from the features customers use every day to future digital services and revenue opportunities.

You'll have significant influence over the European digital customer experience, working internationally across Lotus to help shape the next generation of connected products and services.
