We are looking for a Squad Lead who is collaborative, structured, and impact‑oriented to join our RUBY Transformation Office team, based in our UCB office in Belgium.
About the role You will lead the transformation of key end‑to‑end processes within the RUBY global digital business transformation program. You will plan and deliver quarterly value releases, ensuring measurable progress across processes, data, governance, and technology. You will guide teams in adopting agile ways of working, support capability building, and ensure alignment with process, data, system, and product owners. You will also track progress, manage risks, and contribute to value realisation in a regulated environment.
Who you’ll work with
You will be working in a team that collaborates closely with process owners, data owners, system owners, product owners, and colleagues across the RUBY Transformation Office. You will also partner with cross‑functional experts to ensure alignment, support agile delivery, and drive sustainable transformation across the organisation.
What you’ll do
- Lead quarterly value releases and ensure delivery across process, data, governance, and technology dimensions.
- Measure and validate value realisation using clear success metrics and transparent reporting.
- Coach squads in agile delivery and support long‑term capability building.
- Ensure alignment with process, data, system, and product owners to drive integrated transformation.
- Coordinate data transformation and FAIR data governance activities with relevant stakeholders.
- Track progress, risks, and interdependencies and report to program leadership.
- Support continuous improvement and adoption of agile ways of working across teams.

- A bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification.
- Five to fifteen years of experience in transformation, digital, data, or process excellence roles.
- Experience working in regulated environments, ideally within life sciences.
- Experience applying agile methodologies in complex organisational settings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through change.
- Ability to align diverse stakeholders and support cross‑functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical thinking and understanding of data transformation and governance.
- Knowledge of research, development, or technology environments is an advantage.
