Full description

This is a senior role for someone who owns the UX process, not only the polished screens. You'll work on complex products where logic, edge cases, and complex workflows are the norm. Your role is turning business goals and user needs into experiences that feel simple.

You'll work closely with product managers, engineers and clients across multiple verticals, so adaptability and self-direction matters as much as depth of craft. You'll treat AI as part of how you work rather than an add-on by using agentic tools to explore wider, synthesise faster, and move from idea to validated design without lowering the bar.

You might be our missing piece if you have:

  • End to end UX ownership from user research and interviews through flows, wireframes, and prototypes to dev-ready handoff with the judgement to know when to go deep and when to go lean.
  • A drive to own your craft by asking why, challenging assumptions, and holding the line on clarity until both user and business needs are met.
  • AI awareness and fluency: agentic tools (e.g. Claude, Figma Make, Lovable, Codex, MCP connectors) are part of your workflow to widen exploration, speed up research, ideation, synthesis, validation and prototyping. All while keeping your own judgement on quality.
  • Solid knowledge of design systems, from building and maintaing scalable components, tokens, and patterns, to treating the system as a product the whole team relies on.
  • Experience in cross-functional teams, by working alongside product managers, engineers and directly with clients, where you bridge business goals and user needs and turn complexity into experiences that feel simple.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills from explaining complexity in simple terms to participating in workshops, client conversations, and debates with peers.
  • The ability to mentor other designers by sharing and teaching methods and mindset, and offering honest feedback to support their growth.
  • A consultant's mindset: You think in outcomes, help clients and peers from other domains make better decisions, and know when to push back and when to simplify.
  • The ability to self-manage and take ownership: know when to ask, when to decide, and how to keep things moving in ambiguity.
  • Experience working across different business verticals and adapting your rhythm to the shape of each engagement.

We would be thrilled if you have:

  • At least 5 years in UX, ideally with 1–2 years within teams where you worked closely with other departments.
  • Proven experience designing complex products and systems.
  • A foundation in usability testing, heuristics and awareness in designing with accessibility in mind.
  • Experience defining UX strategy, information architecture, and scalable patterns across digital ecosystems.
  • Exposure to workshop environments, and the confidence to shape the experience and product vision together with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and other peers.
  • A desire for mentorship and growth, helping others reach the next level

We will be working together on:

  • Owning the UX, from uncovering the root user needs to translating them into validated solutions that drive value.
  • Being the UX voice on your projects and holding the quality bar by raising the team's understanding, and simplifying complexity through clear direction.
  • Running and joining client-facing workshops and conversations alongside product managers and engineers, shaping the problem before jumping to solutions.
  • Working closely with PMs and engineers to shape solutions that are technically feasible, strategically sound, and meaningful to users within deadlines.
  • Mentoring UX designers and supporting their development paths, while learning from your peers.
  • Contributing to the evolution of our design culture, processes, and rituals.
  • Advancing the internal processes, ways of working, and initiatives that upskill the team, make us more efficient.
