ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Technical Architect – DevOps to define and drive enterprise DevOps strategy, architecture, governance, and transformation for large-scale Salesforce programs.

The ideal candidate should combine Salesforce architecture expertise with strong DevOps, CI/CD, Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Release Management, and enterprise transformation experience. Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and Salesforce pre-sales is highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define enterprise Salesforce DevOps strategy, architecture, governance & operating models.
  • Design CI/CD, DevSecOps, environment strategy, branching, release & deployment models.
  • Lead DevOps transformation, maturity assessments, architecture workshops & governance reviews.
  • Engage with CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects & senior stakeholders.
  • Support pre-sales, RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, estimation, presentations & PoCs.
  • Establish DevOps standards, engineering best practices & DevOps CoEs.
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered engineering tools to improve productivity, quality & automation.
  • Mentor architects, DevOps engineers and senior technical teams.

MANDATORY SKILLS

14+ years IT experience with 10+ years Salesforce

8+ years in Enterprise DevOps / Platform Engineering / CI/CD / Release Management

Salesforce DevOps, Salesforce DX, CLI, Metadata API, Apex, LWC

Copado, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI

Observability: Salesforce Event Monitoring, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Splunk

AI tools: Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Cursor

Enterprise Salesforce pre-sales & transformation experience

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent

PREFERRED

Salesforce Application Architect / System Architect certification, experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Industries/Vlocity, Agentforce, and AWS/Azure/Kubernetes/DevOps certifications.
