About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to help shape the strategic direction of the Wells Fargo Branded Credit Card business. It is a Strategy/Growth Product Management role where the product is the credit card portfolio, and the primary objective is driving acquisition growth, profitability, and portfolio performance. Lead Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the credit card portfolio by defining and executing strategies that enhance acquisition capabilities, optimize acquisition strategies, and deliver customer-centric solutions.

As a Lead Product Manager on the Targeted Acquisition team, you'll help shape acquisition strategy across direct mail, email, and digital channels. You'll partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders across Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Finance, Legal, and Product to identify growth opportunities, optimize customer acquisition, and enhance portfolio profitability.

In this role, you will:

Drive Acquisition Strategy

  • Develop acquisition strategies across direct mail, email, and digital marketing channels.
  • Define audience targeting, offer strategy, segmentation approaches, and campaign priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency, response rates, and customer profitability.

Leverage Data to Influence Decisions

  • Analyze customer behavior, campaign performance, and portfolio trends.
  • Build data-driven recommendations that influence business strategy and marketing investments.
  • Develop business cases, forecasts, profitability analyses, and executive-level insights.

Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives

  • Partner with Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Product, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Legal teams.
  • Influence campaign direction and prioritization across multiple stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives from concept through execution and performance evaluation.

Optimize Portfolio Growth

  • Evaluate acquisition channel performance and customer lifetime value.
  • Monitor portfolio health and identify growth opportunities.
  • Design testing frameworks that improve targeting, offer effectiveness, and acquisition outcomes.

Communicate with Impact

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Create clear executive-level communications and performance reporting.
  • Translate complex analysis into actionable business decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Credit card acquisition, portfolio management, or growth strategy
  • Experience in Consumer lending products such as credit cards, personal loans, auto lending, or unsecured lending
  • Marketing strategy, acquisition analytics, and/or portfolio optimization
  • Financial services consulting with exposure to consumer banking or lending
  • Performance marketing across direct mail, email, digital, or paid media channels
  • Market research, competitive intelligence, and growth strategy development
  • Experience with credit card acquisition, customer growth, or lending portfolio strategy
  • Strong SQL, analytical, and data interpretation skills
  • Experience developing executive presentations and business recommendations
  • Understanding of credit risk, lending frameworks, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to deliver results in complex, matrixed organizations

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
