We are currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Required Technical Skills

• Core Frameworks: Advanced proficiency in Apache Spark / PySpark for large-scale distributed data processing.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services, specifically Amazon S3, AWS Glue, EMR, and Lambda.

• Database Systems: Expert-level knowledge of PostgreSQL (writing window functions, complex joins, and analytical stored procedures).

• Programming: Strong backend development skills in Python and advanced relational SQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using PySpark and Python.

• Cloud Storage & Data Lakes: Architecture, optimize, and manage large-scale data storage and repository design using Amazon S3.

• Database Management: Build, optimize, and manage relational databases using PostgreSQL, ensuring strict data integrity, schema consistency, and maximum query performance.

• Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse corporate sources into central storage engines.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and fine-tune complex SQL queries, indexing, and PySpark jobs for cost and speed efficiency.

• Security & Governance: Implement access controls, encryption, and data masking protocols using AWS identity services.
