Business Performance Analyst Role

Diamond Mowers is seeking a Business Performance Analyst to join the Finance team. This role will report to the CFO. This cross-functional role partners with sales, operations, finance, IT, and leadership to translate business needs into clear requirements, actionable insights, improved processes, and measurable business results.

Key Roles

  • Analyze performance: Collect, validate, and interpret data; identify trends, risks, opportunities, and variances; establish and monitor KPIs; determine the business drivers behind results; and recommend actions.
  • Translate needs into requirements: Convert business problems into clear requirements for reports, systems, processes, and projects.
  • Improve processes: Document current-state workflows, identify root causes and inefficiencies, design future-state processes, define controls and ownership, support implementation, and measure results against an established baseline.
  • Understand business needs: Partner with leaders and functional teams to clarify problems, define objectives, and uncover root causes.
  • Support decisions and lead analytical workstreams: Develop business cases, evaluate options, recommend actions, align stakeholders, support implementation, and measure results against defined objectives.

Analyze inventory levels, aging, turns, and availability.

Operations

Identify process bottlenecks and productivity opportunities.

Finance

Analyze margins, costs, budgets, and variances.

Dealers / Distribution

Analyze dealer performance, inventory, orders, and retail activity.

Forecasting

Develop demand and sales forecasts.

ERP / Systems

Analyze ERP system and recommend opportunities for improvement

Leadership

Create dashboards and analysis for management decisions.

Continuous Improvement

Quantify opportunities and measure results.

Own assigned analyses and improvement initiatives from problem definition through implementation and measurement. Establish baselines, recommend actions, coordinate stakeholders, and report whether the expected financial or operational benefit was achieved.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and financial acumen with practical knowledge of manufacturing operations, commercial performance, business systems, and process improvement. This individual can interpret complex or incomplete data, communicate findings clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences, influence cross-functional decisions, and translate analysis into measurable business results.

Core capabilities include data analysis and visualization; financial and operational analysis; business process mapping and improvement; commercial and dealer analytics; forecasting and scenario modeling; ERP and reporting requirements; project implementation support; and executive-level communication.

Location: 60th St

Hours: 8:00-5:00

Days of Shift: Monday-Friday
