Intermediate Technical Quality Assurance (QA) Tester

Position Description:

We are seeking an Intermediate Technical QA Tester with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and database testing. The role involves both manual and automated testing across complex enterprise applications (Yardi, MRI, Concur, Integrations, and similar systems). The ideal candidate will have experience designing test strategies, executing test plans, and driving quality improvements across the SDLC. Exposure to non-functional

testing and data migration testing will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for enterprise applications (Yardi, MRI, Concur, Integrations, etc.).
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing based on project plans and business requirements.
  • Write and maintain test scripts, test case repositories, and QA documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to identify, log, and track defects using Azure DevOps/Jira.
  • Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
  • Perform database testing using SQL for data validation and backend integrity checks.
  • Prepare test execution reports, defect dashboards, and sign-off documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: 3–7 years in QA testing roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Test Automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Proficiency in API Testing (REST/SOAP).
  • Expertise in Database Testing using SQL.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Mindset: Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Growth-Oriented: Open to learning new tools, frameworks, and domains

Desired Skills:

  • Non-Functional Testing (Performance, Security, Load Testing).
  • Data Migration Testing: Validating mapping, Reconciliation, and Data integrity.
  • Knowledge of ERP/financial/real-estate systems (Yardi, MRI, Concur, SAP).
  • Familiarity with ETL testing and middleware integrations.
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.

Education:

UG / PG – Computer Engineering / Degree in Computers Science or any related Specialization.

Location: Pune, India.

Work Mode: Remote / Hybrid (based on Company/Project requirements).
