Full description
At AGEERA, we don’t just observe the energy transition - we drive it.
As a fast-growing Climate-Tech company, we are redefining the modern energy market using advanced AI platforms and utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). We build, manage, and integrate Israel’s next-generation Virtual Power Plant (VPP) and Energy Management System (EMS) infrastructure.
Position Overview
We are seeking a sharp, execution-oriented Project Manager for Field Operations and Execution with a proven track record of managing on-site battery energy storage system (BESS) construction end-to-end.
This role is not focused on design consultancy or upper-level supervisory advisory, but on hands-on operational and field execution leadership — managing contractors on-site, controlling schedules, solving real-time field problems, and coordinating all stakeholders on the ground.
Responsibilities
· Full On-Site Management & Supervision: Lead the construction execution of BESS sites, represent the company directly in front of main contractors and subcontractors, and enforce strict adherence to schedules, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
· Pre-Construction Field Input: Conduct site surveys and provide operational and practical execution inputs during the planning phase.
· Work Plan Formulation & Control: Derive project timelines, set operational priorities, and continuously monitor on-site crews and subcontractors.
· Deep-Dive Project Control: Track daily progress across all projects, proactively identify bottlenecks, and resolve field delays at the highest level of detail.
· Interface & Stakeholder Synchronization: Lead site status meetings, drive the systematic closing of Punch Lists, and clearly delineate responsibilities among planning teams, field crews, and subcontractors.
· System Tracking: Maintain real-time task management, documentation, and progress tracking within Jira and project management software.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
· 5+ years of experience in operational project management, field construction management, or site supervision within engineering, civil construction, or infrastructure (hands-on field execution and contractor management experience is strictly required; pure design or advisory background is insufficient).
· Strong Electrical / Energy Background: Proven project management experience within the electrical/energy sector OR an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Education: Practical Engineer or B.Sc. Engineer in a relevant discipline (Electrical, Civil/Construction, Industrial & Management, etc.).
· Schedule & Milestone Management: Proven track record of controlling schedules and milestones across multiple concurrent, complex projects.
· Technical & System Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with Jira, CRM, and project management software.
· Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness for frequent site visits nationwide and flexible working hours based on project demands.
Personal Profile:
· Strong field authority and leadership skills with contractors and site personnel.
· System-level perspective combined with meticulous attention to detail.
· High autonomy, strong initiative, and real-time field problem-solving capabilities.
· Thrives in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Big Advantage):
· Direct experience in BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), solar EPC projects, or industrial-scale energy infrastructure.
· Familiarity with energy site Commissioning and grid handover processes.
· Practical knowledge of electrical systems and infrastructure (transformers, inverters, switchgear).
