Job Grade: C15

Salary:  From £44,900.00 DOE and location + Fantastic benefits Location status: Hybrid (flexible working options available) 3 days WFH Location: Bupa Place, Salford – Willow House, Staines – Angel Court, London

Permanent/fixed term contract: Permanent

As a Senior Analyst within the Product Analytics team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping strategic decisions, identifying growth opportunities and driving commercial performance across our UK Insurance business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst who enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial insight and stakeholder influence. You'll work closely with Product leaders, helping them understand performance, evaluate initiatives and make better data-driven decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with Product leaders to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
  • Analyse customer behaviour, revenue, profitability and cost drivers to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Develop repeatable frameworks for measuring business impact and value creation.
  • Apply advanced analytics, forecasting and predictive modelling techniques to optimise performance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of business initiatives using robust statistical methods.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for enterprise data and commercial insight.
  • Mentor and support junior analysts, promoting best practice and high-quality delivery.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous Senior Analyst or equivalent analytical experience.
  • Strong commercial and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, R, or similar analytical programming languages.
  • Experience building and applying statistical models/AI to solve business problems.
  • Strong data visualisation skills using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience leading complex analytical projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Experience evaluating causality and business outcomes using real-world data.
  • Experience within Insurance, Financial Services or a commercial analytics environment.
  • Track record of mentoring and developing junior analysts.
  • Experience of using Snowflake or equivalent platform
