This role is Paris-based or Amsterdam-based.
Team
Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual, and mid-core experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing, and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.
Joining our Live games team means collaborating with gaming industry experts on globally renowned, enduring games while embracing exciting new entrepreneurial ventures. With over seven billion downloads worldwide and a portfolio of more than 10 resilient hybrid games generating more than $20m per year, we are the world's largest and most successful hybrid publisher.
You will be joining one of our Live Studios, working on Paper.io2.
Role
- Build and implement F2P systems that enhance player engagement and revenue, with a focus on progression, monetization, live events, and in-game economies
- Identify opportunities to use AI to improve the player experience, engagement, personalization, content, and live operations of Paper.io2
- Take full ownership of specifications, timelines, and outcomes, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality delivery
- Utilize A/B testing, retention metrics, and player data to refine and optimize features post-launch. Identify strengths, address weaknesses, and iterate for continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with developers, artists, and analysts to ensure seamless feature rollouts. Maintain clear documentation, resolve technical challenges, and make strategic trade-offs to deliver the best possible player experience
- Prioritize development efforts under tight deadlines, balancing speed and quality to maximize impact
- Stay ahead of industry trends by monitoring competitors, analyzing market innovations, and rapidly adapting best practices
Profile
- Previous experience as PM, Product Owner, Game Designer, or Live Ops/Product Manager in a fast paced environment
- Deep passion for F2P mobile games and curiosity about what makes a game engaging and successful
- Strong knowledge and genuine interest in AI, including generative AI, machine learning, LLMs, or AI agents
- High standards. We need someone who pushes the product forward and challenges weak ideas
- Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
