You will operate in complex stakeholder environments, navigate ambiguity, and drive outcomes through clear problem framing, MVP definition, and iterative development. A strong interest in sustainability is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Discovery

  • Partner with agency Product Owners and stakeholders to frame problems, define product intent, and align on desired outcomes.
  • Lead discovery work (e.g., interviews, workshops, observation, data review) to validate user needs and constraints.
  • Synthesize insights into clear product direction, success measures, and prioritised opportunities.

Delivery & Iteration

  • Define MVP scope and phased roadmap; translate ambiguity into actionable product increments.
  • Drive iterative delivery with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data, operations) using Agile practices.
  • Own product backlog quality: user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritisation, and trade-off decisions.
  • Track adoption and performance; use feedback loops to refine features post-launch.

Stakeholder Management & Influence

  • Communicate clearly with users, delivery teams, and senior leadership; secure buy-in through structured narratives and evidence.
  • Align across multiple stakeholders, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts with a focus on mission outcomes.
  • Provide concise status updates, risks, and decision points; escalate early when needed.

Product Excellence

  • Apply strong product sense in problem framing, value assessment, and outcome-driven decision-making.
  • Promote good product practices across teams (experiment mindset, iteration, measurement, and delivery discipline).
  • Where relevant, incorporate sustainability considerations into product decisions (e.g., responsible design, operational efficiency, long-term viability).

Requirements (Essential)

  • 4–7 years of experience in a Product Management role (or equivalent product ownership experience).
  • Proven ability to lead discovery, navigate ambiguity, and deliver impactful products in complex organisations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with both end users and senior leadership.
  • Strong product fundamentals: problem framing, MVP definition, iterative delivery, and prioritisation trade-offs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong ownership and delivery discipline.
  • Experience delivering digital products in public sector or regulated environments.
  • Experience with Agile product delivery in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence for backlog management and product documentation.
  • Exposure to data-informed product management (basic analytics, experiment design, KPI definition).
  • Sustainability experience or demonstrated interest (e.g., product decisions that reduce waste, improve efficiency, support long-term outcomes).
