Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform telemetry data from ESLs and EdgeSense devices.
- Build and evolve data models and workflows to support analytics, dashboards, and reporting use cases.
- Develop and maintain data processing components within modern cloud-based data platforms (Azure and Snowflake).
- Collaborate closely with analysts to ensure high-quality, accessible telemetry datasets.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture, tooling, and engineering standards.
- Support implementation of data quality, observability, and governance practices.
- Apply engineering best practices including testing, documentation, CI/CD, and data reliability principles.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or another scripting language for data processing and automation.• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and structured data workflows.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure or Snowflake).
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks and deliver production-ready solutions.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud or similar data warehouse technologies.
- Experience working with telemetry data from devices, sensors, or other field-based systems.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory.

For the advertised position, the collective agreement (KV) minimum base salary is € 3,267.00 gross per month, with a willingness to pay above the KV depending on actual qualifications (for full-time employment).
