Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to design, build, optimize, and maintain scalable cloud-based data platforms on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Azure data services, data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, and performance optimization. This role involves collaborating with data architects, analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.

Experience

• 4+ years working with Microsoft Azure Data Engineering.

Data Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure data services.

• Build robust ETL/ELT solutions for structured and semi-structured data.

• Develop and optimize data ingestion frameworks for batch and near real-time processing.

• Implement reusable and metadata-driven data engineering solutions.

Azure Platform

• Design and manage solutions using:

• Azure Databricks

• Azure Data Factory

• Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2

• Azure SQL Database

• Azure Blob Storage

• Implement serverless and dedicated SQL pool solutions where appropriate.

• Experience optimizing SQL performance and cloud costs.
