Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our client's marketing team. In this role, you will lead core product marketing initiatives driving business growth, retention, and go-to-market execution.
The ideal candidate is a resilient, data-fluent product marketer who can hold their own with a strong-minded executive stakeholder, translate insights into sharp creative briefs, and quarterback complex launches end to end without dedicated PM support. They bring both big tech and startup experience, strong competitive positioning instincts, and ideally some third-party retail fluency. It would be great if a person had B2C and B2B experience with some subscription experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution: Drive cross-channel GTM strategy and execution across web, CRM, paid media, and third party retail / partner placements for upcoming product features, device launches, and promo moments
- Positioning & Messaging: Oversee product positioning and campaign messaging informed by consumer insights and executed across all channels, securing all necessary cross-functional and legal approvals
- Creative Oversight: Translate strategy into clear, strong briefs for creative and cross-functional teams, and lead end-to-end creation of high performing marketing assets, including landing pages, videos, emails, and digital ads, for core surfaces and high visibility retail placements
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Approvals: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Growth, and Creative teams to ensure seamlessly integrated launches. Manage planning, reviews, and approvals with key internal and retail partners
- Communication & Performance: Keep cross-functional teams aligned on key launch milestones, marketing performance, and budget allocation
- Executive Stakeholder Management: Operate with confidence alongside a strong, direct executive stakeholder, knowing when to push and when to defer, while keeping momentum on strategy and execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 to 10 years of experience in marketing, with a dedicated focus on product marketing
- Big Tech or Agency experience is a must -
- Startup experience with big tech is preferred- ideally has worked at both a large company and a leaner, faster-moving environment, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves without heavy direction
- Experience managing cross-channel GTM strategies and executing complex, cross-functional projects with senior stakeholders
- Proficiency leveraging AI tools to inform and execute marketing campaigns
- Strong operational and project management instincts, comfortable owning execution end-to-end without a dedicated PM on the team
- Proven Launch Track Record: Demonstrated experience driving end-to-end launch executions from creative briefing to performance tracking
- Senior Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence cross-functional leadership, including strong-minded executive stakeholders
- Strategic Positioning Expertise: Proven experience synthesizing consumer and behavioral insights into high-impact product positioning and messaging, with both a qualitative and quantitative lens
- Competitive Market Strategy: Experience thinking creatively about differentiation in a crowded marketplace with many players
- (Nice to Have) Subscription Experience: Background in subscription marketing, ideally for digital products, recurring revenue models, consumer tech, or telecom
- (Nice to Have) Retail / Third-Party Partner Experience: Comfort translating consumer-facing messaging for third-party retail or e-tail placements is a strong plus
