Pratt & Whitney, an RTX Company, is looking for a Java & Angular Full-Stack developer to join our Digital Technology (DT) Digital Aftermarket Services team. This individual will be involved in the delivery of developing, enhancing, and implementing software solutions within Pratt & Whitney’s DW2W2C Portfolio, as well as integrations with other enterprise products. This role will support the development of back-end and web-based solutions, troubleshooting of problems related to DW2W2C applications, resolving systems integration and compatibility issues, and supporting the application life cycle Center of Excellence. due to customer locations in different time zones, customer meetings can occur outside normal business work hours.

The Digital Aftermarket Services team at Pratt and Whitney is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who will be excited in delivering digital solutions within our DW2W2C Portfolio as it relates to supporting our aftermarket operations worldwide. Specific focus includes the development of enhancements to our systems and troubleshooting production and preproduction system changes.

What You Will Do *

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with focus on performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, external system integrations, and enterprise application services.
• Build backend components using Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, SQL databases, and ORM frameworks.
• Implement coding best practices including SOLID principles, design patterns, clean code, code reviews, and unit testing (JUnit/Mockito).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, debugging, and production support.
• Work with Angular teams for API integration and end-to-end application delivery.
• Design and maintain technical documentation including API specifications, system design, configurations, and deployment details.
• Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Work with APIs, SDKs, and third-party integrations by analyzing technical documentation and implementation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise coding standards, security policies, and development processes.

Qualifications You Must Have *

• Education : Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information technology, or a related technical field with 7+ years of hands-on experience or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information technology, or a related technical field with 5+ years of technical experience. in Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with Microservices architecture and REST API integration.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure.
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Jasmine, or Karma.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XML, SQL, and scripting tools.
• Hands-on familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
