Position: Technical Documentation Project Manager

Tasks:

  • Independent, highly detailed design, planning, and management of projects in the field of technical documentation.
  • Experience in project management using KPIs (identifying KPIs, taking action in case of deviations)
  • Conducting risk assessments and evaluating risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Providing technical leadership, motivation, and professional development for project teams.
  • Team leader position possible, if applicable
  • Client support with tact and strategic thinking.
  • Conducting contract negotiations.
  • Creating work packages and managing and monitoring them within the project team.
  • Resource planning within the team.
  • Leading internal and external project meetings (e.g., kick-off meetings, status updates).
  • Compiling deliverables for the client.
  • Performing cost-to-complete calculations.
  • Monitoring compliance with workflows and processes within the team.
  • Frequent project reporting, both internally and externally.
  • Ensuring compliance with required quality standards, deadlines, and the budget.
  • Maintaining project management tools in detail.
  • Collaborating with the PMO (Project Management Office).
  • Proposing improvements to increase the efficiency of existing processes.
  • Formulating and preparing proposal documents (technical and commercial).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from a university or university of applied sciences in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
  • Information Technology, or Business Administration.
  • Ideally, professional experience in the field of technical documentation (ASD specifications: S1000D, S2000M, H011, or B007).
  • Demonstrable experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solution-oriented, independent thinking and action.
  • Excellent written and spoken German skills.
  • Ability to inspire creativity within project teams.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Interest in military vehicles.
  • Interest in technical documentation.
