This is a senior leadership opportunity within a high-performing security-focused solutions engineering organization.You will lead and develop regional pre-sales teams while helping shape strategy, execution, and revenue growth.The role combines people leadership, technical expertise, sales-cycle ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.You will guide teams delivering compelling demonstrations, successful proofs of concept, and customer solutions.Your technical perspective will span API security, cloud-native technologies, cybersecurity, and emerging AI security needs.Working closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, you will turn customer challenges into business outcomes.This is an ideal role for an experienced solutions engineering leader who thrives in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Accountabilities:
- Provide strategic direction to pre-sales leads and individual contributors, helping teams plan effectively and achieve business objectives.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop regional solutions engineering teams, supporting performance, career growth, and professional development.
- Manage and influence the technical opportunity sales cycle, ensuring teams provide strong technical guidance throughout customer engagements.
- Communicate team strategy, priorities, goals, performance, and progress clearly to sales and pre-sales leadership.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen team capabilities and enable the successful introduction and adoption of new security products and solutions.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to align technical strategy with commercial and customer objectives.
- Support teams in delivering impactful product demonstrations, proofs of concept, technical evaluations, and solution presentations.
- Develop and maintain reports, analytics, and performance insights that enable data-driven planning and improve sales effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, team efficiency, technical enablement, and customer engagement.
- Build strong relationships across the organization, creating alignment, trust, and effective collaboration among technical and business stakeholders.
- Help translate complex security and technology capabilities into compelling customer value propositions that support revenue growth, account expansion, and retention.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience, with a strong background in solutions engineering, pre-sales, technical consulting, or a related discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Solutions Engineering, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing regional or distributed teams, including performance management, coaching, mentoring, and career development.
- Proven experience leading and developing individual contributors while establishing clear objectives and accountability.
- Strong understanding of the technical sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and customer engagement.
- Deep technical expertise in API architectures, including REST and GraphQL, API gateways, and security frameworks such as OAuth and JWT.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies and ecosystems, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with AI security concepts and the security challenges associated with modern AI applications and infrastructure.
- Understanding of core networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and practices, including SIEM/SOAR, CI/CD security, automated API discovery, and testing against the OWASP API Top 10.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to use reporting and business data to guide decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to build alignment, trust, and productive relationships across Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and technical teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while balancing strategic leadership with hands-on involvement.
