Project Description
The Business Systems Analyst will support integration initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, QA engineers, and external partners. The specialist will help translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements related to complex system integrations, APIs, data flows, and enterprise applications.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand business processes, integration needs, and system requirements;
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process and data flows;
- Analyze existing systems and integrations to identify dependencies, impacts, gaps, and opportunities for improvement;
- Work with architects and developers to define integration requirements, including APIs, interfaces, data mappings, transformations, and error-handling scenarios;
- Facilitate requirements discussions and help resolve ambiguities related to requirements, responsibilities, and ownership;
- Document API and integration requirements, including source and target systems, field mappings, business rules, and interface behavior;
- Support the investigation and root-cause analysis of integration and data-related issues;
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation and ensure requirements, decisions, and changes are communicated across business and technical teams;
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or in a similar role;
- Strong experience working with system integrations and enterprise applications;
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, JSON/XML, and API specifications, with experience defining REST API and/or web service integrations;
- Strong understanding of system-to-system integration patterns, data flows, data mapping, transformations, and interface requirements;
- Experience documenting integration requirements, including source and target systems, field mappings, business rules, error-handling scenarios, and integration dependencies;
- Experience working with middleware and integration platforms, such as WSO2, MuleSoft, or similar technologies;
- Experience translating business requirements into clear technical requirements;
- Experience collaborating closely with developers, architects, QA engineers, and product and business stakeholders;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex systems and dependencies;
- Experience working with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and healthcare system integrations is a plus;
