Candidates must hold a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and possess a PE License. At least 5 years of experience in roadway or infrastructure design using IDOT standards is required, along with proficiency in MicroStation and Geopak.

Full description

Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Project Manager to their Naperville team!

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise/oversee transportation projects
  • Lead a variety of projects/studies (roadway, underground

utility, drainage, traffic and infrastructure improvements)

  • Build/maintain municipal client relationships
  • Assist with developing new transportation project business

including proposal/contract preparation, project staffing and project interviews

  • Manage local/Federal Aid projects for a variety of clients

(local agencies, DOT and/or Counties)

  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Assist with staffing/hiring needs
  • Develop design/quality control

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of roadway/infrastructure design experience using IDOT standards
  • PE License
  • Experience

completing IDOT Phase I Reports and IDOT Phase II bid documents

  • MicroStation/Geopak

capabilities preferred with an understanding of IDOT workflow

  • May require occasional travel to job sites, client meetings

and evening functions

Salary is commensurate with experience.
