Senior Data Analyst - Easy Banking (Business Banking)

As part of the Easy Banking Tribe, you will work on high-impact initiatives that help our business customers achieve their ambitions. We translate complex customer, product and process data into insights that drive business decisions and create measurable value for both ING and our customers.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst with deep Business Banking knowledge who can lead complex analytical initiatives and help increase the impact, quality and visibility of Data Analytics across Business Banking. This role requires strong stakeholder management, coaching capabilities and the ability to connect teams across business, data and technology.
As a Senior Data Analyst:
- You translate complex business questions into clear analyses and actionable insights.
- You act as a trusted sparring partner for stakeholders across Business Banking.
- You lead large and strategically important analytical projects.
- You connect stakeholders, squads and tribes to drive alignment and maximize the impact of analytics across Business Banking.
- You are recognized as a trusted analytical advisor who combines business understanding, technical expertise and stakeholder management to successfully deliver complex programmes.
- You help teams make better decisions based on facts, data and customer insights.
- You coach and support other Data Analysts in their professional development and daily work.
- You proactively identify opportunities to improve products, processes and customer experiences.
- You contribute to strengthening the data-driven culture within ING.
Your competences and experience
- Master's degree in Analytics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex analytical projects with significant business impact.
- Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, processes, customer behaviour and data.
- Extensive experience with SQL and preferably SAS and/or Python.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience guiding, coaching or mentoring Data Analysts.
- Ability to translate technical complexity into understandable business recommendations.
- Experience working within large and complex organizations, preferably within financial services.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality and privacy principles is considered a plus.
- An existing network within Business Banking is a strong advantage.
