Financial Analyst

About ONE Therapy Network

ONE Therapy Network helps pediatric therapy practices operate more effectively through technology, financial infrastructure, and centralized back-office support.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our finance team and help turn financial and operational data into useful insights for the leaders running our businesses.

The Role

This role is primarily focused on financial analysis. You will work with financial and operational data to understand how our businesses are performing, investigate why results are changing, and provide leaders with clear information they can use to make better decisions.

You might analyze why profitability changed at a particular location, determine what is driving a cost variance, model the financial impact of a proposed decision, or identify a trend that deserves management attention.

You will not be responsible for running the operations you analyze. Your job is to understand the numbers, find the story behind them, and give business leaders the financial insight they need to act.

Because good analysis depends on good financial information, this position will also have hands-on accounting responsibilities during month-end close.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze financial and operational performance across practices, locations, and service lines.
  • Investigate changes in revenue, labor costs, expenses, margins, and profitability.
  • Compare actual results to budgets, forecasts, prior periods, and operating targets.
  • Identify important trends, variances, risks, and opportunities and communicate what you find.
  • Build financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate business decisions.
  • Prepare recurring financial reports and analyses for business unit leaders.
  • Help develop forecasts, budgets, KPIs, and management reporting.
  • Work with operational leaders to understand the activity behind the financial results.
  • Improve reporting and find better ways to organize, analyze, and present financial information.
  • Support other financial analysis projects as needs arise.

During Month-End Close

You will work alongside the accounting team to help produce accurate and timely financial statements. Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing journal entries, accruals, allocations, and reclassifications.
  • Preparing account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
  • Reviewing income statement and balance sheet activity for unusual items.
  • Performing financial statement variance analysis.
  • Maintaining supporting schedules and documentation.
  • Assisting with other close and financial reporting responsibilities as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Approximately 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or a related role.
  • A solid understanding of financial statements and accounting fundamentals.
  • Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and the month-end close process.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial and operational data.
  • Ability to dig into a set of numbers, identify what matters, and determine what is driving the result.
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Ability to work independently, investigate questions, and follow an issue through to an answer.
  • Ability to explain financial information clearly to people who do not work in finance.

Helpful, But Not Required

Experience with any of the following is helpful:

  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Financial modeling.
  • KPI or management reporting.
  • Power BI or similar analytics tools.
  • Multi-location or multi-business organizations.

Who Will Do Well in This Role

You may be a good fit if you enjoy digging into financial data and figuring out why something happened rather than simply reporting that it happened.

We are looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset and enough accounting experience to understand and help produce the numbers they are analyzing. You do not need to arrive having done every part of the job before. You do need to be curious, comfortable with numbers, willing to investigate questions, and interested in developing into a strong financial analyst.

Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
