The Role
Location: Hybrid 2-3 Days a week based from our London Office based in Angel

We are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst (known internally as a Membership & Reporting Analyst) to join the Commercial Finance Team.
This is a hybrid role, working in our London office 2-3 days per week.
The Role
- Running daily, weekly, and monthly membership reporting, circulating to all areas of the business, including senior management team
- Producing the trade report for the weekly trade meeting and deliver the weekly performance at the trade meeting
- Running monthly revenue and yield reports and understanding any variances to forecasts
- Developing an understanding of core membership processes and systems across the business to ensure integrity of all membership reporting
- Supporting the Commercial Finance function to help deliver robust commercial analysis to the rest of the business such as analysing the impacts of price and product changes
- Tracking promotional activity throughout the year and providing feedback on performance
- Tracking and analysing new club performance – a critical growth avenue for the business
- Owning the budget and forecast process for membership volume and total revenue
- Continual development of management information systems, to improve automation of reporting to key business users
- Developing strong relationships with the Commercial, Marketing, Operations team
- Owning the reporting and analysis for bolt on revenue and profitability and other value-added sales
- Owning the reporting for the Balance Scorecard, Financial performance by club and bonus file
- Supporting the Commercial Manager on developing the Monthly Management Pack
The Person

- You will be working with different stakeholders across the business, so the ability to communicate and build relationships to truly partner across the business will play an important part in your success.
- Team player and flexible depending upon the urgent needs of the business.
- Experience using automation tools / AI to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhancing efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- The role will suit a part qualified / finalist (ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong excel skills
- Strong data and financial analysis skills
- Quick to learn and implement new concepts, knowledge, and skills
- Strong PowerPoint skills, to prepare board information packs and the ability to present complex information clearly and in summary form
