Team Description  

Sabre TE&O Site Reliability Engineering organization is looking for a talented manager to lead a team of 8-10 SREs supporting the PNR suite of products.   What will you achieve?  

• Lead a team of SREs supporting the Reservations domain of products.

• Plan and prioritize work tasks and track against goals and committed deliverables.

• Identify product, process or tool improvements that will lead to better reliability of supported products.

• Implement good operational hygiene and team practices that will lead to improved reliability.

• Advance SRE initiatives such as toil reduction, and better observability via SRE metrics.

• Automate everything that we’d repeatedly, often using heterogeneous tools.

• Collaborate with product and development partners to advance the business strategy, and improve DORA metrics

Must Have Skills:

• Experience leading or collaborating with teams handling large mission critical products in a cloud environment (GCP/ AWS/ Azure)

• Good communication skills and well organized.

• Ability to switch context and reprioritize work for the team in a fast paced environment.

• Ability to lead incident bridge conversations to allow SREs to focus on the technical work.

• Ability to build good relationships and collaborate with partner teams.

Nice To Have Skills:

• 6-8 years of hands-on software engineering experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

• Familiarity of Sabre eco system and processes.

• GCP certifications
