About the Role
We are looking for a Product Owner / Junior Product Manager to help develop and deliver our insight-driven product.
Our product is designed to support client insight and product development, helping our clients make more informed, data-driven decisions.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with our Head of Operations & Business Excellence and cross-functional teams to turn business and client needs into practical product improvements. You'll have genuine ownership of the day-to-day product development process, while working with senior leadership on longer-term priorities and direction.
As a small, growing agency, you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact. You'll be close to the decisions, work directly with senior stakeholders and see the results of your work quickly.
This role would suit someone with a few years of experience in product, product ownership, digital delivery or a related role who is ready to take on greater responsibility and develop their career in product management.
What You'll Do
Product & Prioritisation
- Work with the Head of Operations and Business Excellence to develop and maintain the product roadmap
- Gather and prioritise product and client requirements through stakeholder discussions, research, feedback and data
- Translate business and client needs into clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Manage and maintain the product backlog, ensuring priorities and requirements are clear to the wider team
- Make day-to-day prioritisation decisions within the agreed product strategy, escalating larger strategic or commercial decisions where appropriate
- Identify opportunities to improve the product based on client needs, user feedback and product performance
- Take ownership of comms to keep the leadership team informed
Product Delivery
- Work closely with development, engineering and other teams to support the delivery of product improvements
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews and other Agile or iterative development processes
- Help ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered to the expected standard
- Track progress, identify potential issues and help resolve blockers
- Support the planning and delivery of product releases and improvements
- Balance competing priorities and keep stakeholders informed of progress
Clients & Stakeholders
- Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day product-related questions across the agency
- Work with client-facing teams to understand client needs and translate feedback into actionable product improvements
- Help communicate product updates and changes to internal and client-facing teams
- Support client conversations where product knowledge or input is required
- Build strong working relationships across product, technical, client success teams
Product Performance & Improvement
- Monitor product usage, engagement and other relevant metrics
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collect and synthesise client and internal feedback
- Help evaluate the impact of product changes and use learnings to inform future development
- Support the Head of Operations and Business Excellence with longer-term product planning and development
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, analytical, curious and comfortable taking ownership.
You don't need to have a long career in product management, but you'll need to demonstrate that you can understand problems, work with different stakeholders and turn ideas into clear, actionable work.
You'll ideally have:
- 2–4 years' experience in product management, product ownership, digital delivery, project delivery or a related role
- Experience working across some or all stages of the product lifecycle
- Experience gathering and translating requirements into clear, actionable outputs

- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum or other iterative development approaches
- The confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions and make recommendations
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to get into the detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

- Experience working with insight, research, consulting or data-driven products
- Experience working with client-driven or B2B products
- Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel or Google Analytics
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing or gathering customer feedback

- Build a strong understanding of our product, clients and business
- Take ownership of the day-to-day product backlog and prioritisation
- Establish strong working relationships with technical, client-facing and internal teams
- Help ensure product improvements are clearly defined and delivered effectively
- Bring structure and clarity to product development
- Use client feedback and product data to identify meaningful improvements
- Help increase product engagement, adoption and client satisfaction
- Give the Operations Director confidence that day-to-day product activity is being effectively managed
Why Join Us?
We're a small, growing company which means this isn't a role where you'll be one person in a large product department.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Have genuine ownership and influence over a growing product
- Work directly with the Head of Operations and senior leadership
- See the impact of your decisions quickly
- Work across product, technology, client and commercial activity
- Develop your product management experience in a broad, hands-on role
- Make a tangible contribution to how our clients use insight and data
- Work in a collaborative environment where ideas and initiative are encouraged
If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, learn quickly and have a real influence on a product, we'd love to hear from you.
