Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the data integrity and accuracy of our Income Repository (IR). This role involves analyzing control exceptions, identifying data anomalies, managing incident resolution, and supporting the transition of monitoring processes to our IT partners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Anomaly Detection:• Analyze control failures and exceptions within the Income Repository (IR) to identify root causes and provide justification artifacts.
  • Review daily IR health check reports to identify and validate data anomalies, coordinating with IT for resolution.
  • Incident & Issue Management:• Manage the end-to-end follow-up process for all income-related incidents, ensuring support tickets are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Reporting & Validation:• Execute the monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) validation report, investigating and addressing any identified anomalies to ensure financial accuracy.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience
  • Proven technical background with a working knowledge of UNIX and SQL.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAS or other statistical and data management software is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau for data visualization is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Have a technical background with working knowledge of UNIX, SQL, SAS/other statistical and data management software, Big Data is plus. Tableau a plus.
