About the Role:

The Project Manager will oversee external contractor construction for fiber builds from launch through placement. This role coordinates with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams throughout the project life cycle to ensure tasks are updated, project milestones remain on track, and monthly forecasts for HH and job completions are maintained. The Project Manager will also manage project dependencies, resolve interferences, and support risk mitigation efforts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate can manage and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, is familiar with industry-standard tools and software, and takes a proactive approach to staying current with technological advancements. A strong understanding of telecommunications regulatory and compliance requirements is also highly beneficial. Above all, this role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards in every professional interaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the end-to-end placement process, including coordination with external vendors and internal teams, oversight of OSP resources to ensure timely facility readiness, and collaboration with Local Operations, Local Engineering and all internal teams.
  • Manage complex fiber builds in partnership with internal departments, fostering strong working relationships to maintain workflow continuity, meet committed due dates, and achieve departmental goals.

  • College degree and 2-4 years professional level experience; or 6+ years professional level related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.

The starting compensation range for this job is $63,400 to $72,000
