Full description

This role is part of the Data Issue Management & Risk Monitoring function within the Finance Data Office organization and supports the Director, Data Issue Management & Risk Monitoring function

This role will support the leadership in establishing and managing a comprehensive process for identifying, tracking, remediating, and monitoring data issues and risks that impact financial integrity, reporting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring experience in data governance, issue and risk management, and a strong background in financial data within a highly regulated environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the Data Issue Management framework, including intake, assessment, classification, prioritization, root cause analysis, remediation, and closure validation.
  • Continuous monitoring of data risks and emerging data issues across key finance datasets/reports.
  • Implement risk-based monitoring protocols, including early warning indicators, risk heat maps, and control effectiveness metrics.
  • Maintain a centralized inventory of open and historical data issues, ensuring accurate documentation, traceability, and audit readiness.
  • Produce regular reporting and dashboards for senior leadership, risk committees, and regulatory stakeholders, highlighting risk concentrations, issue trends, and remediation effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 3 -4 years of experience in data quality / data governance is preferred.
  • Good exposure on US Regulatory Reports like FRY-9C, FRY 14A/Q/A etc. are preferred.
  • Strong relationship skills and communication are essential as this analyst will partner with multiple groups e.g., Business process owners, Technologies, and Enterprise Data Governance.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, ability to manage multiple assignments and projects concurrently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collect business requirements and use them to guide implementation of a technical solution.
  • Strong skills on MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate.
  • Good knowledge on data quality, data governance, and reporting tools e.g., Collibra, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Service Now – are preferred.
  • Exposure to GenAI and AI Agents are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile (Rally/Jira) or SAFE project methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
